Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is one of Canada’s most renowned golf courses, and is arguably, the most beautiful setting for a golf course in Canada. Designed by Canada’s most prolific architect Stanley Thompson, it was the most expensive course design of its time (opened for play in 1927). Nearly 100 years later, the course is still one of the most exceptional in the country, recently ranked #4 public golf course in Canada (SCOREGolf, 2025). An absolute must-play.
