Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club

Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club, located in the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, is a historic and prestigious golfing destination. The course was actually built on land that was part of the War of 1812! Established in 1875, it is one of Canada's oldest golf clubs. The current course was designed by golf architect Stanley Thompson and showcases classic design elements that embrace the natural beauty of the region. Considering how long it’s been around, the course is still in incredible condition, with some of the holes appearing identical to how they were when the course was originally built.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club has an idyllic setting surrounded by rolling vineyards, orchards, and the picturesque Niagara Escarpment. If you look across the water, you can even see Fort Niagara on the New York side of Lake Ontario. And you’ll also encounter Fort Mississauga at the first hole. The history of this location is really what sets the golf experience apart from other courses. Some of the trees on the property are centuries old.
