Inclement Weather Policy for Peterborough Golf Courses

It is expected for golfers to regularly play through rain so be sure to pack your rain gear in case the forecast is wet. In the case of severe inclement weather, the courses will extend their rain check policy. Very rarely is there weather that is severe enough to justify a cancellation of a tee time.

• If severe inclement weather is happening or in the forecast during your expected time on the course, we can look at alternative times to play same-day, when the hourly forecast is predicting no inclement weather. Due to the frequent inaccuracies of long-term forecasts, we won’t adjust any tee times unless we are within 24 hours of the scheduled tee-off, so we can track the hourly forecast.

Policies for Peterborough golf courses are outlined below:

Baxter Creek, Black Diamond, Oliver’s Nest

• If severe inclement weather is happening or in the forecast, BGT golf group can opt not to play morning of play. A refund for this round of golf would be administered by Best Golf Trips.
• GROUP MUST CONTACT BEST GOLF TRIPS FIRST: If you are looking to enact this policy, you first need to discuss with Best Golf Trips. We can review the radar and mm. of forecasted rain to determine if the request is justified. To discuss this option, contact Jordan @ Best Golf Trips @ 705-762-8781. Do not contact the course directly.
• No rainchecks will be given by the golf course once you start your round. If you choose to play, but quit after a number of holes, you will not be issued any rain check compensation
