Rain Policy

Calling the Golf Courses and Accommodations

If you have questions about any of the bookings on your golf trip and want to call the golf course or hotel directly, you are likely to just be directed back to your booking agent @ Best Golf Trips. Early Check-in at Accommodations

It is the standard that early check-ins are subject to availability, and the availability can’t be confirmed until the day of arrival. Typically, if your room is available when you show up, accommodations are happy to check you in.

It is likely best not to rely on an early check-in being available. since it can’t be confirmed until the morning of arrival. If you want to put the request for early check-in (reasonable time) on your reservation, please reach out to your booking agent at Best Golf Trips ahead of time. This is not a guarantee of early check-in.

If you want to inquire about early check-in on your day of arrival, call the hotel directly for this on the morning of your arrival.

Checking in at Golf Courses

No tickets are required to check-in at the golf courses. Check in is super simple and seamless, just have the Trip Captain provide the booking’s name and tee time, and the course will have you on your way!

Checking in at the accommodation

Check-in with your name as per the itinerary rooming list. Reservation confirmation number is also provided in the itinerary, but likely name should suffice.

Pairings at the Golf Course

Please note, if your golf outings aren’t booked in multiples of 4 (ie/ unfinished foursomes) golf courses can pair your golf group booking with other golfers. Golf courses also reserve the right to schedule unfinished foursomes to maximize their tee sheets (ie/ a booking of 6 golfers can be scheduled as a 4some/2some, as opposed to 3some/3some). If you wish to go out on the course in a specific configuration, you’ll have to fill your foursome or purchase unused spots.

Beyond the Contour recognizes this track as one of Stanley Thompsons’ top designs, and even ranks the track as the #99 golf course in Canada

The course began its life in 1923 as a nine hole course from Albert Murray. Twenty years later, the godfather of golf course architecture in Canada Stanley Thompson took the reigns and built a magnificent 18-hole championship-caliber course unveiled in 1949. Today the route remains true to its original design and routing through continued efforts to restore features of that era.

A pure hidden gem, those in the know appreciate this course as one of the most beautiful in all of Quebec, with “private club” conditions. This par 72 layout is a monstrous 7,536 yards from the tips, built on 250 acres of pristine terrain plenty with tree-lined fairways, perfectly manicured greens and bunkers promising exciting challenges and ample delights.

Designed by renowned architect Howard Watson, this track continues to shine in the modern era. A protege of Stanley Thompson and Lachute native, Watson was commissioned to build a brand new private course at the Lachute Golf Club. In 1961, The Members’ Course officially opened its fairways with a modern layout for the time extending over 7,000 yards. Originally a private golf course, the public now has access to this absolute gem.
