Dundarave golf course in Brudenell, PEI, brought together the architectural design expertise of Dana Fry and Dr. Michael Hurdzan to create this 18-hole championship course as part of the Brudenell River Resort. Snaking along the Brudenell River, Dundarave features some beautiful vistas throughout the course. But the most notable feature of Dundarave is the red sand bunkers that showcase PEI's iconic red sandstone in a bunkering pattern that you won’t find anywhere else. And against the backdrop of the dark green pine forest, they really stand out.
The fairways are long and open, giving you great driving opportunities, and the greens are large and true, making for fair gameplay. Dundarave has hosted many tournaments, including the PEI Amateur Golf Championship, back in July of 2016, and the winners went on to represent the province in the Atlantic Golf Championship.
As part of the Brudenell River Resort, those golfing at Dundarave and staying on-site have access to tons of other activities, including both indoor and outdoor pools, watersports, tennis, horseback riding, and the sister golf course - Brudenell River Golf Course. And that’s not to mention the fantastic accommodation options in their cottages and hotel guestrooms. There is also a spa and three restaurants and bars, including a pool deck bar, casual pub and seafood restaurant.
