Grandview Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located just outside of Huntsville, Ontario. The course was designed by Canadian golf course architects Mark O’Meara and Brit Stenson and it opened in 2001. It was actually Mark’s first golf course design, as the PGA Tour veteran wanted his first course to be truly iconic. And the location of this golf course provided the perfect rugged terrain to design a unique course that highlights the natural landscape. Fairways are wide, bunkers are shallow, and each hole is entirely different. Even though there are a few blind shots, it’s very playable, making Grandview Golf Club a great choice for golfers of all skill levels.
The course is situated on Fairy Lake, which is visible on many of the holes because of the large elevation changes. You’ll play across a varied landscape of both marshland and forest, with many rocky outcrops, giving the course some extra character. Grandview is located only a short drive away from Huntsville, making the course a perfect candidate for a stay-and-play golf trip, as there are many amenities located close by. The is also a nine-hole academy course on-site and a beautiful clubhouse with views out over the first hole. You can enjoy a cold beer or wine from the deck, and they serve both lunch and dinner, with a menu featuring a range of appetizers, burgers, salads and main dishes.
