Situated just minutes away from the famous Niagara Falls, Thundering Waters Golf Club will test your long game with its over 7,200-yard layout. Designed by John Daly, this 18-hole championship course is a classic “grip it and rip it,” offering exhilarating gameplay. It was actually John Daly’s first signature course in Canada, and we aren’t surprised that he picked this location, only 1500 yards from the falls themselves. Golfers will experience a range of natural features as they make their way through the course, including picturesque ponds, creeks and towering trees. A good portion of the holes wind through old-growth deciduous forests, while the others are links-style, crossing windy fairways.
The challenging layout forces players to consider strategic shot placement to avoid the bunkers, water hazards and navigate the blind holes. Expect a high risk-reward design, typical of other John Daly courses. The sound of the nearby thundering waters creates a truly immersive experience for golfers. The golf course also gives golfers the opportunity to experience the 7th longest hole in the entire country, at 661 yards.
