Muskoka is the easiest mother daughter destination to plan because the resorts handle most of it. JW Marriott The Rosseau gives you Rocky Crest and Lake Joseph, both Thomas McBroom designs, with a full-service spa and direct lake access on property. Deerhurst Highlands and Muskoka Bay are the other two anchors we book often, and either pairs well with an off-day on the lake or at the spa. The drive from Toronto is two hours, which makes Muskoka the simplest option logistically and the one we recommend most often when the trip is a long weekend.
PEI Golf Trips
PEI is the destination if you want the island itself to be part of the trip. The Links at Crowbush Cove sits on the north shore with one of the strongest oceanside routings in the country, and Dundarave and Brudenell River round out a course lineup that’s earned consistent top-100 placement in SCOREGolf rankings. Charlottetown is a walkable, food-forward small city that anchors the evenings, and the coastal drives between courses are worth the half-days they ask for. PEI rewards a slower schedule, which is why most groups book five to seven nights.
Mont Tremblant Golf Trips
Mont Tremblant earns its spot because the resort village handles the off-course time as well as anywhere in Canada. Le Maître, Le Diable, Le Géant, and La Bête give you four very different rounds inside a 15-minute radius, and the pedestrian village at the base of the mountain keeps everything walkable: restaurants, spas, shopping, the gondola to the summit. Fairmont Tremblant sits right at the village base, which keeps the car parked once you arrive. Late September is the sweet spot here, with the Laurentian colours at peak and the village quieter than peak summer.
